In addition to your regular testing needs, the Everlywell COVID-19 Test Home Collection Kit is now available for purchase. This FDA-authorized product is designed for convenience and ease of use, with results available within 24-48 hours of the CLIA-certified lab receiving your sample, and telehealth diagnosis from an independent physician.

How the testing process works:

To access the Everlywell COVID-19 Test Home Collection Kit, visit www.everlywell.com where you will be asked to complete a screening questionnaire provided by our independent telehealth partner and based on guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

Those who qualify based on these guidelines will have their test request reviewed and approved by an independent physician from Everlywell’s third-party telehealth partner. Like Everlywell's other products, this product will be shipped to you with everything needed to collect a sample at home and safely ship that sample to a CLIA-certified lab.

The testing experience includes:

• Infectious disease sample collection and shipping materials to safely ship your sample, based on COVID-19 guidelines set by the CDC and the recommendations provided by the United Nations Committee of Experts on the Transport of Dangerous Goods (UN).
• Private, secure digital results provided within 24-48 hours of the lab receiving your sample. (Everlywell is a HIPAA-compliant company and never sells customer data).
• Individuals with positive results will be offered a telehealth consult with an independent board-certified physician from PWNHealth.

Results will be communicated to all mandated federal and local reporting agencies.

About the Everlywell COVID-19 Test Home Collection Kit:

Cost and Reimbursement: This product will be offered at no profit to Everlywell. The $109 price will cover its costs, such as overnight shipping to the lab, lab processing fees, physician review and diagnosis, and kit components. Everlywell will provide the information necessary for customers to submit a claim to their insurance company to seek reimbursement for the cost of the product, although coverage will depend on one’s insurance policies. The product will be covered by participating FSA and HSA plans.

We believe COVID-19 testing should be available at no cost and are working with Congress to find a legislative solution to limitations that prevent companies like Everlywell—which provides access to testing but is neither a medical provider nor a laboratory providing COVID-19 testing services—from being directly reimbursed by insurers. The company has also reached out to policymakers to explore funding possibilities for making this product available for free.

Test type: The assays used by Everlywell’s partner labs are diagnostic PCR tests that can detect the presence or absence of the virus that causes COVID-19. PCR testing is considered the gold-standard testing method for diagnosing COVID-19.

Test accuracy: Benchmarks for the accuracy of PCR testing for SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19, have been set by the FDA and must exceed 95% at measurable concentrations. The assays used by Everlywell’s partner labs meet or exceed these criteria from the FDA.

Laboratories: Everlywell’s partner laboratories are CLIA-certified labs authorized by the FDA to test specimens collected using the Everlywell COVID-19 Test Home Collection Kit.
