Do you know the difference between food allergies and food sensitivities? Food allergies are often apparent immediately after exposure to food, whereas food sensitivities are non-life-threatening conditions that often cause delayed symptoms. The delayed immune reaction can make it difficult to pinpoint what foods you may be reactive to. Our Food Sensitivity Test is a useful tool to help you identify certain foods in your diet that may be causing abdominal pain, bloating, indigestion, and more.

“I loved this product. It was life changing for me as I loved eggs, but realized through the test that I'm actually highly sensitive to them. I cut them out of my diet and feel so much better. I have recommended this test to many people after doing it myself. 10/10.”

“I've had incredibly painful mornings and days for as long as I can remember. Buckled over with stomach pain, stomach bloating, and nausea. The remedy is usually spending hours laying in a very hot bath to soothe the pain. I finally took this test and was pleasantly surprised by how easy it was to assemble and send off. The results came on time, a little before actually. And the results gave me so much insight. I'm on day 8 of no wheat, egg whites (I'm eliminating eggs in general), and no chicken and after day 2- the pain stopped. I'm not even kidding! Truly life changing!!! I'm excited to continue on with my elimination diet as well as my meeting with Everlywell about having more info regarding my results. I'm a mom of 2 little ones and just sold my small business to be with my family more. I'm Beyond thankful for everlywell because I wouldn't be able to focus on my family if I were still in the dark when it comes to food sensitivity. Onward and upward and I'm loving it!”

"It's a good way to identify possible foods that could be causing me a reaction without having to eliminate all the foods at once (such as going on an elimination diet as Whole30). Something that I would've liked to see was a list of possible reactions I could have from the foods that I'm reactive too. Right now I am not sure what to look for other than if my face breaks out or I get abdominal pain or any gastrointestinal pain/issue. I'll also monitor my energy levels when I eliminate these foods. Overall, my purpose of doing this test was for the reason I like it, not go on a full elimination diet but remove a few foods only."

“Eliminated the things that the test showed sensitivity to and to my surprise no more pain in my feet!! My husband is shocked and frankly so am I! Who knew that it was the food I was eating that was causing me to be miserable just walking. So happy to be pain free!”

“I've had full blood panel tests from my doctor and had absolutely no abnormalities/deficiencies. So I'd been eliminating & reintroducing foods for about a year, it's tedious and nearly impossible (in my opinion) to zero in on the culprits. As a vegetarian I'd had a sneaking suspicion that soy and eggs were big offenders, I'd seem to have the most adverse and residual symptoms after eating those. This test came back indicating extreme sensitivity to only one food...egg whites. It showed moderate sensitivity to egg yolk, chicken, and soy....among a few others. I wish I had done this test FIRST a year ago, instead of blindly eliminating foods, I could have saved myself a lot of time, discomfort, and stress.”

“Results made too much sense! I could never figure out what my food triggers were until I got my results. After two days of eliminating my food sensitivities...bloating, inflammation and stomach pain is almost gone.”
“Tired of reacting differently to foods and not understanding why? Everlywell's food sensitivity tests can help you figure out exactly what's happening by testing up to 96 different foods to show you how your body interacts.” CNET
"By pairing high-quality laboratory testing with virtual care and post-test support, consumers now have convenient and affordable access to insights to take back to their healthcare practitioners to assist in the screening or diagnosis of common food conditions. These tests can be a valuable tool for those who may struggle with food-related symptoms and either can't afford to visit a specialist or are unsure where to start." Cision PR
“The company sends the kits directly to your door (though if you're in New York State, only the COVID-19 test is available at this time), you register the kit and follow the directions included, then ship it back and wait for your results. Once the sample is received, it's run through a CLIA-certified lab and results are reviewed by an independent physician. Test results are then available for you to review on Everlywell's secure portal with personalized insights and action items available to help you figure out next steps. Overall, it's an easy and painless (okay, some of the tests do involve a finger prick!) process, and an amazing tool to learn a bit more about your insides.” Marie Claire
“Of the 30-plus tests Everlywell offers, one in particular that caught our eye is its Food Sensitivity Test. As someone who has tried to pinpoint food sensitivities through some grueling diet changes (cough, cough – Whole 30), I found the test results to be an easier way to prioritize foods for an elimination diet rather than just completely cutting out all the foods I love for a month or more.” CNN

IgG antibody reactivity is based on exposure to the food or foods; therefore, individuals who have since eliminated “problematic” foods from their diet may see a lower reactivity than expected.
The Food Sensitivity Test results will rate how reactive your IgG antibodies are to 96 common foods, including various dairy products, fruits, grains, vegetables, spices, and more. Each food will be rated on a Class scale of 0-3: Class 0 (normal reactivity) to Class 3 (high reactivity). This is a great place to start if you want to dig into your body's relationship with food. Included with your test is access to tailored suggestions about next steps, help prioritizing an elimination diet, and personalized information and education.
